Forty!
Wow this is my 40th post...and I don't think I've said anything profound yet LOL!!
Ah well, that's my life!
Kaleb's surgery went off without a hitch. He did so well, I'm uber proud of him. Recovery's been interesting. We came home on Monday (same day surgery) and he slept for about 2 hours. He got up in some pain so I gave him his meds & a popsicle. Then he wanted to go outside. Big no no lol He's not allowed to do anything that makes him breathe heavy for 2 weeks. It's been...fun (read: sarcasm! LOL) He just wants to go out & play and he can't. The girls are mad because by default they can't either. On Monday, I let the girls out for the 2 hours between my mom dropping them off & my stepmom picking them up. And I fought Kaleb the whole time because he just wanted out. It's easier, for him, for everyone to be IN so that's just how it is. We only have one more week, the girls will survive LOL
Brooklyn had some serious issues for 2 days this week. She was driving me NUTS! She (along with the other girls) spent the night at my mom's on Sunday night and then during the day on Monday. My mom brought them home and they were here for about 2 hours until my stepmom picked them up. They stayed the night there and then spent the day with my sister until about 5pm. So Brooklyn only saw me for 2 out of 48 hours. This was the first time she slept over at someone else's house since my surgery 5 months ago. She's SUPER ridiculously clingy! It seems to be better today...:::knocking wood:::
My sister is having some issues. She was admitted last night to Philhaven (a mental health facility). We're not sure how long she'll be there, likely longer than a week. She's willing to accept help so that is GREAT thing! Can you keep her in your thoughts though?
That's about all that's going on here...I snapped some pics while we were without internet. Here they are!

Lordy Lou!
Update time! I suck, so sue me!! Actually, this time it wasn't MY fault...well, I guess technically it was lol Our internet (and cells!) were turned for like 2 weeks! O-M-G talk about withdrawal!!
But, I'm back! We're gearing up for Kaleb's surgery. It is on Monday @ 9am. We have to be there for 8am. They will keep him in Post-Op for THREE hours! So it looks like we'll be there for most of the day...that oughta be tons of fun LOL They are doing a tonsillectomy & adenoidectomy. They are doing something called an "ablation of the turbinates". The ENT explained it to me twice and I've researched it along with talking to my Doctor of a stepmom & I still can't explain it to anyone LOL The positive of all this is when it's all said & done my lil buddy won't SNORE anymore! And with any luck he'll GROW! At 4 years, 2 months he weighs in at a whopping 24lbs (with clothes!). His height hasn't been affected, he's the same height as Kayden. Waist-wise he can fit into 12 months! It's nuts! I had no idea that snoring could cause such issues! Hopefully after surgery he'll start sleeping properly too! Every single morning I wake up to him on my floor...he's so much like Brianna was!
Speaking of Brianna! We got her report card while I was on the 'net vacay and she's doing AWESOME!! On part of her report card, they have a goal number they'd like the kids to reach. Well, she TRIPLED that goal!! I could not be any more proud of her! She LOVES to read! I cannot get over my 6 year old being able to read! It's sad to think that school will be over 4 1/2 short weeks :( She's going to be so sad & will miss her friends SO much!
Kayden & Brooklyn are doing great, too! Kayden made friends with a bunch of neighbor kids since we play outside a lot. She loves having friends and is so proud of herself. Brooklyn's a talkin' fool! She's the best! She loooooves being outside. Her most favorite thing is PUPPIES! It's the cutest thing!!
Well, I have to get the kids ready to go a baby shower at the neighbors & they can't be bothered to LISTEN today :::pulls out hair:::
Just wanted to let you all know I am alive and well LOL I'm sure I'll be back shortly with some more give aways!!

Cloth Diaper Nation
I joined a site called Cloth Diaper Nation in December of last year. I joined just to read & browse their For Sale or Trade section but never really got into it. A certain other site that I refuse to mention because of their fondness of spreading e-herpes was more active, especially in the selling department.
Early in this year, the abovementioned site started spreading its herpes-love & I made the decision to never go back. Dh would have my ass if the computer crashed because of my love of browsing, lol, so I got more into Cloth Diaper Nation
Little did I know! This board is SO awesome. Their smileys rock. They have no edit button. Yes that means you can fix your typo's. Don't worry though; everyone typos. The purpose of the no edit button has nothing to do with typos. It's about owning your words. So, feel free to call someone a bitch, but it could come back to bite ya. We own our words, so say what you mean & mean what you say. There is a great variety of forums that are unrelated to CDing which just rocks. There is always someone to offer a hug, word of advice, or just a humping smiley HAHA!! There is NO censorship...NONE! It's THE best thing. No locking threads or deleting them because the OP posted & didn't get the reaction she wanted. We were BGPs there! What? You don't know what they are? Let me explain..You'll catch on real quick..they are Big Girl Panties!!
So come on & join! You won't be disappointed!! Cloth Diaper Nation

Just like I promised :o)
Ok, I'm updating!! Just when I think life is going to settle down things get CRAZY!!
Updates!
~Kaleb's surgery is scheduled for May 11th....tentatively. The twins got kicked off CHIP & were placed on the bullshit insurance because of stepson moving in. Now that they have the "new" insurance, I get to start back at square one by getting a referral from his primary doc, going BACK to the ENT for him to say, again, yep! he needs surgery, and waiting for the insurance to approve it. If all that gets done by the beginning of May, he'll still keep his appointment. Otherwise, we're probably looking at the end of June since they schedule a month and a half out. I also get to switch dentists for the kids. I was planning on it anyway. The dentist we were seeing, his office was ridiculous. With CHIP there was a bunch of other pediatric dentists so I wasn't too stressed. Now that they got booted to the other insurance, there is ONE other pediatric dentist and his office is 20 minutes away. The original dentist was like 5 minutes away. I'm NOT pleased.
~Brianna got her report card yesterday! I was so surprised, I thought the 3rd quarter wasn't over until next week LOL! She's doing OUTSTANDING!! She has "S"s for EVERYTHING (which stands for "Strongly Developed"). On her "Learning Contiuum" she only needs 13 more spaces checked off, there is 60 total spaces. I am SO proud of her!
~Brooklyn is just freaking amazing. She's the best baby, EVER! She is such a happy baby! I'm so wrapped! It's amazing (i like that word, huh?) how such a tiny little person can complete me. Her vocabulary is incredible. She repeats EVERYthing! And loves to surprise us with words we didn't even know she KNEW! Yesterday we went for a walk & she saw a puppy. She got all excited & kept saying "puppy! puppy!" She loves to sit with me while I'm on here looking for pictures of "baby"! She's a trip!
~Kayden...she's a handful LOL She's just dying to turn 5! LOLOL We've been having tons of fun outside when it's warm. She looooves riding her new bike and scooter! She's really doing great with coloring. Almost overnight she went from scribbling to actually coloring IN the lines! She's trying really hard to write her letters, too!
Here's some recent pics! Still lovin' my camera!

I suck.
I'm horrible at updating this stuff. Kinda helps that I'm sure anyone actually *reads it...yeah that's my excuse lol
What's new?
~I'm waiting for a call...Kaleb will be having surgery in the immediate future. They are removing his tonsils & adenoids & also doing an "ablation of the turbinates" (i have to google that one lol). The boy snores like a 50 year old man & according to the ENT could very well be the cause of his small-ness.
~My back sucks. I'm almost 3 months post-op & it hurts more than it did pre-op. I've been assured by my own neuro nurse AND my stepmom (who works in the same office) that it is normal but it SUCKS!
~Brianna's reading so awesome! It's incredible that she barely knew her alphabet in August & now she's reading!!
~I wish I could say we are preparing for Easter but alas that's not the case. We've hit financial rock bottom. Money just sucks around here. It's killing me that I won't have anything for the kids to wake up to on Easter morning :( I'm grateful we have a house, etc but their kids & they *know Easters coming ya know?!
I'm a mental mess but I have some decent days that keep me going. There's nowhere else to go but up right??
